The West London Alliance has led the sub-regions work on behalf of the West London Partnership (WLP) in relation to the London Olympic and Paralympic Games 2012.
Offering strong support from the start of the bid process, working with the support of the London Development Agency, West London was the first sub-region to publish a report showing how residents and businesses could support the Games and how they could benefit from them. The WLP partner agencies have continued working together to turn those proposals into an action plan. A conference organised by the WLA – “Supporting the Games- Realising the Benefits” – was held in February 2006 to begin cross-sector stakeholder engagement with, and contributions to, that action plan. Click here to see the Event Report. Most recently, in September 2006 we held a Stakeholder Network Forum to consult on our action plan and on LOCOG's Delivery Plans.
