The WLA Future Jobs Fund bid has been successful in its application for funding, subject to contract. The bid aims to create up to 300 new jobs and is aligned to the West London Sustainable Employment programme.
Under the FJF Programme*, funding will be avaialble to support new job opportunties during the first six months of employment. The programme can be linked to the creation of new apprenticeship opportunties, additional on-the-job training, and in-work support.
Ongoing negotiations are in process with the LDA to provide additional employment support through the WL Sustainable Employment Programme.
The FJF programme will start in October 09.
